The celebration banquet, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 9223,
Riverside, California. first class prime-rib dinner was served in one of the halls!
(No rubber chicken for these handlers!)

I was very proud that my son David was present at the dediction and memorial.

... and yes, our canine buddies bellied up to the table too! Chris Raper
commented, "Now this puppy was a class act. His manners were better than
most children. He even cleaned up around his plate." Canine's handler is
Robert and Robert's wife (seated at the far left)

Da Nang Gang! I was especially pleased to meet Byron Martin (center)
again after so many years. We served together in 1965-1966 with the
USAF 366th K-9 Security Police Squadron, Da Nang, SVN.
