... and for a private moment, each veteran is alone with his dog's memory.

Many, without words, choked with emotion, simply touched the
canine or handler... others lips moved with names of dogs whispered in reverent recognition.

... and when the warriors have passed by the memorial is covered with a
blanket of red and pink Roses. The scent of flowers and rain freshened skies is pleasant.

Later, friends meet and visit the March Field Museum, making purchases of CD's, postcards, and jackets, and memorabilia.
Plans are firmed up to meet at the VFW/VDHA/VSPA's celebration banquet that afternoon and evening.
