One of the Thai Police Special Action Force members I worked with was really funny. Thid had this practice of wearing a grenade on his web belt. What made Thid a little odd was that the pin for the grenade was kept in his locker at the barracks--the only thing holding the spoon in place was a rubber band. After a few times working with him I finally got around to asking him about it. "Hey Thid, what are you going to do if the rubber band breaks in the jeep?" Without hesitation, he said; "Die young, kid." We all laughed!
