37th Combat Security Police Squadron,Phù Cát, 1968-1969

My name is Edwin Beckford, a member of the 819th RED HORSE squadron stationed at Phù Cát 8/66-8/67. Excerpts directly from my Commander's End Of Tour Report: "A small contingent of air police (37th APS) PCS from Phan Rang AB: augmented by RED HORSE fire teams, provided security... they arrived at Phù Cát AB by armed convoy from Qui Nhơn Air Base on 1 August 1966. They immediately began construction of the defense perimeter...."
