![]() 2. The Da Nang Air Base VC/NVA POW Camp , near the base's maingate, is backlit by flares during the 1966 Buddhist uprising. U.S. forces remained netural until near the end when General Ky led ARVN troops into the city of Da Nang and broke the rebellion.
