This photo was published in the Pacific Stars and Stripes.  When it was taken, I really didn't think much about it.  Now, after so many years I'm kind of glad to have it.  Those of you who were at Binh Thuy AB will recognise the POL tanks in the background.  The American SP's really didn't patrol with the VNAF SP's, however the US and VNAF SP's did work together on the main gate.  The photo was set up by the photographer.You can tell because we didn't wear our flack vests and helmets during the daylight hours.
