pour gas on an area and slap a flare into the bush. Not a pleasant job in 103 degree temp.

28) Gone Fishin': It was a way to make sure the weapon fired when needed, and frogs on the flight line had tasty legs. I shot a rat near my post, and a Cambodian soldier asked if I wanted it. I said take it -- he did and proceeded to cook it in a C-Ration box over a fire.
