TO ACCOMPANY THE AWARD OF
THE AIRMAN'S MEDAL
TO
MICHAEL C. DANISH
Technical Sergeant Michael C. Danish distinguished himself by heroism
involving voluntary risk of life near Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base,
Thailand, on 25and 26 December 1973. On these dates, Sergeant Danish
responded to a burning hotel and was directly responsible for saving
seven lives. His actions were accomplished while placing personal safety
in jeopardy by battling through smoke, heat and flames to save the lives
of others. Danish has relected great credit upon himself and the United
States Air Force.
