Sentry Dog Handler Roger Bernacki

Like many of us, Roger Bernacki returned from Vietnam and spoke very little of his time at Phan Rang AB (1967-1968).  He passed away on 21 March 2006, just 3 weeks before his 60th Birthday. His son, Mark Bernacki  sent me this tattered photo of  his dad and his dog. The photo was found in his wallet. To say he never spoke much about Vietnam, is to say he made 1 or 2 references to being there. The sons, daughter, and grandchildren of Roger would like to hear about him

Note: Our database list Roger's dog as Fred # A611.

If you knew him, email me and I will forward it to his son.
