The Kennels of
Cam Ranh Bay, RVN

The kennels were located on a slight hill known appropriately as "K-9 Hill".

At first the dogs were housed using the standard methods. Dogs were chained with a leather collar and kennel chain. Each dog had a house  which consisted of their shipping crate. The crates were protected from the sun and weather with a tent. A more permanent kennels would be built with a concrete slab, chain link fencing and a steel roof.
