BinhThuy, USAF Post Office
9) This was the Cantonment Entry Gate. I cannot remember
names of the Airmen. I hope some one will recognize them.

11) Cantonment area at Binh Thuy. 632nd SPS hootches are on the left. Note
SP cross-pistols emblem on the fence. For those that don't know, the
fence-like barriers built up around the hootches were filled with sand
bags. This was for protection during rocket and motar attacks.
(What's the guy doing---flying a kite ... or carrying an umbrella?)

4:632nd SPS hooches - 2
12) Another view of the cantonment area (facing south). The name of the SSgt. escapes
me for now. The mascot dogs in the foreground were Connie (standing) and Joe(?).

5:632nd SPS hooches - 3
13) SP Cantonment area again, from second floor of the barracks on south end
of the area (facing east). Barely visable in the background is the Mekong River.

Binh Thuy , 632nd SPS CSC
15) U.S. and RVN flags fly together at Binh Thuy AB! CSC was located in back
of the two buidlings and near the base of the tower. The tower was manned at
night---only by SP's, of course.

in the line of duty at Binh Thuy AB.
